Creating a New User Account

In the upper right corner of the
screen, you'll see a Sign
In | Join | Help cluster of links.
Click Join. (In the examples presented here, we'll be
demonstrating a user called "Day13_Owner.")
You may also click the Create
an Account link from the Sign
In page.

You must
complete all of the fields that are indicated in red as Required.
Complete as many of the other fields as you can. Your choice of Password must be at least 6
characters long and is case sensitive. You are required to enter
your Password and email twice, in order to safeguard against
typographical errors. It's in your interest to type these; don't just copy and
paste them!
Pay particular attention to the Timezone
field. This must match the geographic location from which
you will be posting your blogs. If your actual location and your
registered time zone do not match, then the display of your blog post
could be delayed by hours.
When the form has been completed, read
through the Justice Talking User Agreement and Terms of Use. You
must Agree to these terms in
order to be granted posting privileges.

When you have clicked the Create
Account button, your account will be active. You don't
immediately return to Talking Justice, however.

Justice Talking
offers a number of periodic email newsletters to which you may wish to
subscribe:

Check as many
Newsletter mailing lists as you would like. If you don't want to
subscribe to any at the present time, click Not Now. Otherwise, click Subscribe. You can always
subscribe and unsubscribe from your user Profile.

Once you have clicked
either Not Now or Subscribe, you will be returned to
the Talking Justice home page.
