    Condoms in the Classroom

There is schools that do distribute condoms and they say it does not make the children be more permiscuous;if anything it is teaching them more resonsibilities. They will have sex whether they receive condoms in class or not.I say as a mother of four boys,I would rather them be handed out and hopefully not be used;but let's not take chances give them to the kids. The schools that do say teen pregnancies have gone down, maybe not by much but if just preventing one is better then none. Sometimes kids think they are invincible,we can't stop them from having sex , but maybe we can help them a little more on protecting themselves ;whether it be pregnancies or a sexually transmitted disease.LETS HELP OUR KIDS , NOT HARM THEM MORE....

    RE: Condoms in the Classroom

More and more, it is becoming the job of the school district and teachers to take on the responsibilites that fully belong to the parents. I know that there are a lot of dysfunctional families out there that do not communicate with their children for one reason or another but let's focus on the real issues at hand. Families have the right and should have the responsibility to have conversations with their kids about sexually related activities. If families are not willing to have these conversations, there's the real root of the problem!

    RE: Condoms in the Classroom

Rebel, the issue at hand is why parents aren't doing their jobs. Parents wern't perfect, whose is. They screwed up on some parts. The one thing I did learn is responsibility. Although they waited too long on the sex talk, I didn't need it by then, one thing helped me keep it in my pants; I knew I would e held responsible if I screwed up. I knew condoms weren't 100%, no sex is the only 100% of not having children. The schools need to stay out of the sex subject. Let's stop having the TV and schools raise our children and raise them ourselves like we are supposed to.
